May 2010 Minutes

The meeting was called to order at 6:47 p.m.
Josh led us in the Pledge of Allegiance the 4-H pledge was led by Zac. Roll call was things you would put in a first aid kit. 16 members were present along with 4 advisors, and one parent.

The minutes were approved as read motioned by Zac seconded by Caleb passed. As of last meeting we have $345.86 with total income of $40, $20 of dues and $20 of books. Safety officer gave a demonstration on the importance of knowing what you are drinking (sports drink or chemical). Health officer gave a demonstration on what is in a first aid kit. There was no committee reports and old business.

New business: At the next meeting the flower committee will give a report. We decided that if Tara and Karah spend money on cloverbud projects that the club will pay them back if they show receipts.

A reminder to anyone taking an animal project, go to quality assurance.

Demonstrations at next meeting will be the 3 Shininger boys.

The meeting was adjourned at 7:38 P.M. motioned by Zac seconded by Addie passed. A demonstration was given by Rose tacking a horse. Next meeting will be held at Greg and Karah Shininger’s on June 12, 2010.
